Dragon!

For Halloween Landon was a DRAGON. A fleecy green dragon with shiny wings. We think he enjoyed his costume, he had to wear it three times. Once to Rob's office, once to Melissa's office and then again to trick or treat down the street.

Here he is thoroughly enjoying his loot. He did have a few pieces of candy but the rest has been tucked away - although Rob keeps sneaking it here and there.

A minor candy meltdown.

We trick or treated with our great new neighbors. This is their daughter Marlee who Landon loves to follow.

Ready to hit the streets.

Spring and Fall - What happened in between?

We literally blinked and summer was over. A whirlwind of a summer it has been with new house building, weekend trips to the cabin to complete siding, trips to Montana and Idaho, and lots of fun with friends and neighbors to enjoy SLC's hot summer nights. - we made it to more great free concerts than any other summer.

Landon, of course, is such a little dude. Completely independent. He can tell you what he wants....mommy, daddy, water, Mimi (Madison), Tee (Tanner), shoes, eyes, nose, pictures, stroller, cars, trucks......he says it all. Now we working on learning our colors. We run a lot these days - after Landon. He walks down stairs on his own and climbs and jumps on anything. He so much fun and quite the jokester. Tickling people is the most hilarious trick. He's spent endless hours in the backyard pool and sandbox. He only obtained one bee sting this summer, not too bad considering how much time we spent outside. Landon makes everything we do that much more worth it and that much more fun :)

Enjoy the photos.

Backyard pool party. Landon had taken a digger backwards out of a chair on the deck and scraped his chin up pretty good.

A nice evening in Wyoming at the cabin in Carharts and flannel. Can't go wrong. Grandpa Tony would be proud.

Landon is constantly resting his arms behind his head, when he sleeps, when we cuddle up at night. Too funny.

Grandma DeVoe helping fill up the water bucket to dump in the water table and sandbox.

Trip to Kalispell, visiting Great Grandparents and Great Uncle Don!

A new buddy - Obie (Lauren and Matt's baby). They are working on sharing. Happy Fourth of July!

Nice hike down Big Mountain. I don't think we'll ever call it Whitefish Mountain Resort. Views were awesome and Landon was awake for the entire hike. We even played in some snow.

Off to Priest Lake for a few days with the Ericksons and Phillips. Before dinner cruise. Landon got a new life jacket.

Landon and Uncle Thomas, good buddies.

Great mornings at Sugarhouse Park. Landon is a climbing and sliding machine. Crazy how big they get so fast.

On the big kid slide.

One of the many weekends at the cabin.

Loves his cars and trucks. He's been taking them to bed and sleeping with them. Total boy.

Sunglasses that Grandma DeVoe gave Landon when he was just a few weeks old. Landon won't stop wearing them around the house. What a cool dude.

A Real Boy

Not a baby, a BOY. Below are some photos I took of Landon in the back yard last weekend. He is saying and repeating all sorts of words. When he hears the engine of a plane he points in the sky and says "PANE". When he drops things he says "hut oooh". He runs every where, gives kisses and hugs, sleeps well at night and goes to bed with out a fight. He has a funny big personality and is very social. This little man sure is loved by all. Enjoy.

Florida - Across the Country

The Phillips' travel to Florida for a long weekend birthday celebration. Rob's grandma Lorle Cumming turned 90 at the beginning of May. A majority of the Phillips crew was in attendance for a big birthday bash.

Some advice for others climbing into confined spaces with a one year old....don't do it! Ha, we had a rough flight on the way to Florida but was well worth it to see Landon on the beach playing in the sand with his cousins and for him to meet his Great Grandma for the first time - priceless. Enjoy the photos of the trip.

Landon playing at the pool, cousin Ruby at the beach.

A family photo - the water was so warm and Landon didn't seem to mind the waves.

Grandma Sara and Landon at the pool.

Such a sweet sweet boy to his mama.

Pool TIME!!!!!

Cousins - Ruby, Owen, Landon

A long day at the beach.

A giant sand box to play in.

Surfer Dude.

A Little Late....Easter.

For Easter we took Landon to an Easter egg hunt at a local park. There was a section for the 0 -2 year olds. We waited for bell, Landon raced out, and scored four eggs to bring home. However, he managed to lose one as he consitently dumped out his basket and picked them back up :)

Here is our family Easter picture.
Landon received a pack of bubbles in his Easter basket from the Easter bunny. Rob seemed to enjoy them as well.

One of Landon's finds.

We met the Thomas' for the Easter egg hunt. Stephanie and Kate found eggs with Landon. Kate if 5 weeks older than Landon, they have a lot of fun together and seem to play very nice with each other.

Now Introducing......Mr. WALKER.

Landon, AKA MR. WALKER, is all over the place. Upstairs, downstairs, inside, outside, up on top, down below, anywhere we go he can go. Enjoy the photos, the video at the end you'll have to turn your computer or your head sideways :)

Another day at the park, fun times swinging. Landon wasn't so sure about the slide.

On daylight savings day we kept Landon up through his afternoon nap so that he would go to bed on time by 8 pm. He didn't even make it through dinner.

We attended a birthday party for Landon's buddy Ryker who lives down the street. Good times at the aquarium.

Landon is already helping Rob with plumbing projects. What a good little helper.
